Assim como os pedestres acenam com a cabeça para os motoristas, sabe? No caso do elefante, porém, o “aceno” foi feito com a tromba.
O Wildlife Rescuers documentou e compartilhou em seu perfil no TikTok exatamente isso.
Manadas de elefantes são matriarcais
Na legenda da publicação, o Wildlife Rescuers explicou um pouco sobre a organização das manadas de elefantes, que ela normalmente é matriarcal. Ou seja, a manada é liderada pela elefante fêmea mais velha do grupo – a “avó” da galera.
“Ela toma decisões para o grupo, incluindo onde encontrar comida, água e caminhos seguros. Um rebanho típico é composto por fêmeas aparentadas e seus filhotes, enquanto os machos adultos geralmente deixam o rebanho quando atingem a adolescência e vivem sozinhos ou formam pequenos grupos de solteiros.”

Ainda de acordo com o post, os elefantes são conhecidos por serem animais inteligentes, sociáveis e cooperativos entre si, formando fortes laços de proteção, aprendizado e apoio.
